SVITLANA IASECHKO

I was born on 6th August, 1986 in Ukraine.

In 2003 I entered the Kharkiv National University, where studied until 2007. Got the degree Master of Law (with Honours).

From 2007-2011 I studied at the graduate school on majoring in 12.00.03- civil law and civil process; family law; international private law. I finished in 2011 with a successful defense of my dissertation on the topic 'Civil-legal liability for violation of the right to information' for the degree of PhD.

Since 2011 I have been working as an associate professor at the Kharkiv University of Internal Affairs at the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law.

Regarding my area of scientific interest, for 10 years I have been dealing with the problems of legal regulation of information, personal non-property rights, the right to information on health status, and agreement on dissemination of confidential information, Artificial intelligence.

Since 2023, I have been an Expert Lecturer of the Jean Monnet Module ‘Digital Transformation of Rights: EU Experience’ (DiTraRi_EU - 101127785), which aims to study the experience of EU legal policy in the field of digital transformation and human rights in the digital age, implemented by the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of KhNUIA, Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law, which is designed for three academic years (2023-2024, 2024-2025, 2025-2026).

Teaching experience in the classroom with students for 13 years. Now I am writing a doctoral thesis on the topic 'Transactions of personal non-property rights'. I have got 10scientific publications indexed in Scopus and 11 publications in Web of Science.

Author of more than 80 scientific works.

I am married and have two children.
